El muro y su narración addresses the phenomenon of the Bogota streetart from its narrative characteristics. This text starts with the work started in the monograph Driblando el Encuadre (Adalberto Camperos Durán, 2006), in which the concept of intergrafía is proposed as a theoretical tool applicable to the works of streetart Bogotano in the period 2003-2006. El muro y su narración deepens in the different narrative uses that are given to the intergrafía in the works of Bogota streetart during the period 2010-2017 and explores the historical and cultural implications that can be established with the stories told in these works. The investigation explores the way in which the streetart of Bogotá appropriates, retakes and adapts narrative resources coming from other disciplines such as comics, illustration or cinema to elaborate the stories captured in its murals. For this, three emblematic works of the period are analyzed: Democrashit (SAGA, 2014), Homenaje a las víctimas (Chirrete Golden and ARK, 2013) and El recurso se agota (Lesivo, 2016). The visual analysis of the works was carried out adapting theoretical concepts coming from several disciplines and the literary narrative theory. The research resulted in an evident interest of artists to build stories, a dynamic and creative use of different narrative resources and an exploration of the genre of dystopia.
