The article aims to solve whether the penalties prescribed in the Final Peace Agreement between the Government of Colombia and the FARC-EP to punish those responsible of international crimes are compatible with the international standard of proportionality of the sanction, based on an interpretation of the treaties and the jurisprudence of the International Criminal Law, the International Humanitarian Law and the Inter-American System of Human Rights.
El artículo tiene como objetivo resolver si las penas prescritas en el Acuerdo Final de Paz entre el Gobierno de Colombia y las FARC EP para castigar a los responsables de crímenes internacionales son compatibles con el estándar internacional de proporcionalidad de la sanción para tales crímenes, establecido a partir de una interpretación de los tratados y la jurisprudencia del Derecho Penal Internacional, el Derecho Internacional Humanitario y el Sistema Inter-Americano de Derechos Humanos.
