GPR and magnetometry methods used in a survey carried out in the archaeological site of Checua, Nemocon

Abstract

Se realiza un estudio geofísico con GPR y magnetometria en la colina de Checua en el Valle del rio de Checua, Nemocón, para probar las aplicaciones de estos métodos en la arqueología, dado que anteriormente en esta colina se han encontrado vestigios arqueológicos correspondientes a sociedades de cazadores y recolectores de 3000 a 9000 años antes del presente

A geophysical survey with GPR and magnetometer were carried out in the Checua hill, Valle del rio de Checua, Nemocon, in order to check the aplications of the methods in archaeology, this taking into account that previous archaeological materials have been found in the area, corresponding to hunters and gatherers societies that lived between 9000 and 3000 years before present
