This project tries to reconstruct the image of my grandfather by weaving the memories of my grandmother, the history of the railroad in Bogotá, as well as archival material that have symbolic value in the history of my grandfather before dying. Starting from the material obtained within the investigation, it is possible to re-read what the image of Humberto Moreno represents and how his history and memory echoes in the following generations. The reconstruction of the figure that today represents my grandfather was a challenge because there is no possibility of recreating it or reproducing it without losing at the same time its condition, because although the photographic records, multimedia, interviews and bibliography are part of this work, they have limitations and can not be compared in any way with the experience lived. In this way, the work of archiving in this project constitutes a narrative that gives form and meaning to the work. It was necessary to use the traces left by my grandfather because it is impossible to have direct access to him. This project establishes a rereading of these traces around the memories of my grandmother. This reconstruction of the identity of Humberto Moreno, can become a new reading or rereading of what he represents, transforming his own narrative and the identity of the subjects that slide from his shadow."--Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado.
