Abstract

"La propuesta arquitectónica que se plantea desarrollar es un centro de investigación con características específicas de educación ambiental. La característica del proyecto se dirige hacia lo ambiental, lo cual implica que la relación de las edificaciones debe ir de la mano con un contexto natural. Bajo estos primeros criterios se decidió que la altura de los edificios se va mantener en un solo nivel, la arquitectura se va levantar sobre palafitos con el fin de mantener un equilibrio ecológico sobre el terreno y la materialidad va ser principalmente elementos de tipo sustentable, reciclables o renovables. El lote se enfrenta a tres vistas distintas, por un lado está enfrentado hacia el sector urbano, por otro hacia una plaza pública y finalmente hacia el humedal. A partir de estas características se dispuso un sendero ecológico que rodea el lote y limita el proyecto con el barrio aledaño, asimismo este sendero va servir como conector entre el proyecto, el humedal y la intervención que actualmente se tiene planificada para el humedal. En primera instancia se plantea como idea principal la de restituir la naturaleza, por lo que el agua va ser el elemento natural que va otorgarle la esencia al proyecto. La estrategia de posicionamiento en el terreno el cual le da la primera forma al proyecto, surge principalmente de las formas circulares y esféricas que abundan en la naturaleza y es esta misma la que se encarga de definir la forma general en el proyecto. A partir de este espacio anegado de manera controlada, se instaura un orden radial dónde el programa empieza a surgir alrededor de este, la misma vegetación se va encargar de esconder y relacionar la arquitectura con la naturaleza, cumpliendo con el objetivo principal del proyecto."--Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado.

"The architectural proposal that was presented is to develop a research center with specific characteristics of environmental education. The characteristic of the project is focused towards the environment, which implies that the relationship of the buildings must go hand to hand with a natural context. Under these first criteria it was decided that the height of the buildings will be maintained at a single level, the architecture will be built on stilts in order to maintain an ecological balance on the land and materiality will be mainly sustainable elements, recyclable type or renewable. The lot faces three different views, on one hand it faces the urban sector, on the other towards a public square and finally towards the wetland. Based on these characteristics, an ecological trail was set up surrounding the plan and the project was limited to the surrounding neighborhood. This trail will also serve as a link between the project, the wetland and the intervention that is currently planned for the wetland. In first instance, the main idea is to restore nature, so water will be the natural element that will give the essence to the project. The strategy of positioning in the field which gives the first form to the project, arises mainly from the circular and spherical forms that abound in nature defining the general form in the project. From this space flooded in a controlled manner, a radial order is established where the program begins to emerge around it, the same vegetation is responsible for hiding and relating the architecture with nature, fulfilling the main objective of the project."--Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado.
