El arte como creador de realidad: cuatro discursos alrededor del arte moderno

Abstract

A través del teórico del arte Konrad Fiedler, el filósofo Hans Georg Gadamer y los artistas Piet Mondrian y Paul Klee, el texto aborda una problemática que ya varios artistas, así como pensadores, se habrían preguntado y es: el arte es creador de realidad, generador de conocimiento y productor de nuevas aproximaciones a lo que se constituye como verdad. Desde solamente cuatro perspectivas alrededor del arte moderno se parte para demostrar que la producción artística moderna no está lejos de la realidad sino que la crea, porque no por ser mimético de la realidad visible el arte está demostrando verdad sino que en él se crea dicha realidad.

Through the theorist of art Konrad Fiedler, the philosopher Hans Georg Gadamer and the artists Piet Mondrian and Paul Klee, the text addresses a problem that already several artists, as well as thinkers, would have asked themselves: art is the creator of reality, generator of knowledge and producer of new approaches to what is established as truth. From only four perspectives around modern art, it starts to show that modern artistic production is not far from reality but that it creates it, not by being a mimic of visible reality art is demonstrating truth, but that reality is created with it.
