Esta monografía de grado investiga cómo la figura del cuerpo indígena femenino en Indias Occidentalis (1590-1634) permite entender los imaginarios y representaciones que existen sobre América asociada a una mujer en las tradiciones textuales y visuales de los siglos XVI y XVII a partir de la relación texto e imagen presente en la obra.

This monograph explores how the figure of the indigenous female body in Indias Occidentalis (1590-1634) allows to understand the imaginaries and representations that exist during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries about America and his association with a female figure. This analysis is made from the relationship between text and image present in the book.
