We present the results obtained by simulating cosmic muons interacting with a Triple GEM gaseous detector using the GARFIELD ++ software package. The electric fields in the detector are determined using finite elements with the help of the GMSH and ELMER programs. The objective of the simulation is to find the optimal operating parameters of the TGEM detectors that we have assembled in our laboratory. We will present details of the detector's implementation, electric field calculation and performance predictions, in terms of gain and spatial resolution, which our simulation yields, for different operating voltages and several percentages of the Ar - CO2 gas mixture of the detectors GEM.
