Narrativas de foráneos en Vistahermosa : la nación colombiana y el conflicto armado en los años 80

Abstract

Esta tesis explora las narrativas de 4 bogotanos que, en la década de los 80, vivieron temporalmente en Vistahermosa, Meta, por motivos laborales. El objetivo es dilucidar el sentido que les dieron hace más de 30 años y que les dan ahora a sus experiencias en dicho contexto. Sus narrativas, obtenidas a través de entrevistas semi-estructuradas, permiten pensar la formación diferenciada del Estado-nación en Colombia y la creación de sentido sobre el conflicto armado interno desde la práctica profesional. Asimismo, revelan claras diferencias de género en las vivencias y recuerdos, que atraviesan la totalidad de la investigación. Su paso por Vistahermosa marcó definitivamente el proceso de subjetivación de estos individuos y el desarrollo de sus carreras profesionales, de tal manera que los llevó a replantear su identidad y poner sus profesiones al servicio del país

This thesis explores the narratives of 4 Bogota citizens who, in the 80s, temporarily lived in Vistahermosa, Meta, for work reasons. The objective is to elucidate the meaning that they gave back then and that they give now to their experiences in that context. Their narratives, obtained through semi-structured interviews, allow us to think about the differentiated formation of the nation-state in Colombia and the creation of meaning about the internal armed conflict from professional practice. Likewise, they reveal clear gender differences in the experiences and memories, which run through the entire investigation. Their passage through Vistahermosa definitely marked the process of subjectivation of these individuals and the development of their professional careers, in such a way that it led them to rethink their identity and to put their professions at the service of the country
