Cerámica artística en Colombia : la segunda mitad del s. XX

Abstract

This text proposes a tour of the history of artistic ceramics in Colombia since 1950, a time when pottery is still considered a "minor art" until the last decade of the twentieth century. Prior to this tour there is a chapter dedicated to the polysemic character of the word ceramics and another to the relationship between crafts and art.

Este texto propone un recorrido por la historia de la cerámica artística en Colombia desde 1950, época en que la cerámica aún es considerada como un "arte menor", hasta la última década del siglo XX. Previo a este recorrido hay un capítulo dedicado al carácter polisémico de la palabra cerámica y otro a la relación entre artesanía y arte.
