dc.description.abstractThis thesis contains three articles that analyze the effects and causes of structural change with the level of inequality and international trade. Structural change means transforming a country's economy from one productive sector to another. This process has occurred with greater intensity since the Industrial Revolution, which goes hand in hand with economic growth and is irreversible.
dc.description.abstractLa tesis contiene tres artículos que analizan el efecto y las causas del cambio estructural sobre el nivel de desigualdad y el comercio internacional. El cambio estructural implica una transformación sectorial de la economía de un país. Este proceso ha ocurrido con gran intensidad desde la Revolución Industrial, lo cual se relaciona con el crecimiento economico y es un irreversible.
